FTP Hints and Troubleshooting

I can't log in?! - Make sure your login name is formatted as lastname_firstname. For example, Eric Clapton's login would be "Claptop_Eric", his password would be the password he entered into the login request form (my guess would be "layla").

I STILL can't log in?!?! - Did you fill out the login request form and hit submit? Did you receive an email saying that your account has been activated? You have to use the form to request an account.

Why can't I use my EZBinder login? - Unfortunately we could not import the old EZBinder logins, so we have to create new accounts for everyone.

PAGE NOT FOUND - refresh the page, or clear your browsing history! We constantly update our server, and most web browsers do not automatically update FTP directory listings. This can cause problems such as "page not found".

How do I download a file? - Right click the file, and choose "Save Link As" or "Save Target As".

Why am I always asked for my password? - Web browsers are convinient, but aren't the best way to access an FTP server. There are many FREE FTP programs that will remember your password for you and improve your FTP experience vastly:

FireFTP - An FTP Client ADD-ON for Firefox, make sure to go into the "tools" menu and deselect "cache directory listings".

FileZilla - A free standalone FTP client, from the makers of Firefox/Mozilla.

CoreFTP - Another free FTP client
